IAM Advisory is a family-owned financial services firm in Easton, PA serving about 2,400 clients with 15 employees. Burdened by boxes of paper, a file-room workflow and unsuccessful attempts at off‑the‑shelf and custom solutions, the firm set out to find an easy electronic “filing cabinet” to digitize account management and client records.

IAM implemented DocuWare Cloud, using intelligent auto‑indexing, electronic workflows and e-signatures to go fully paperless—storing over 50,000 documents and adding 50–100 per week. New client files can be created in about five minutes, remote access and streamlined approvals improved productivity (and COVID‑era continuity), and the cloud solution proved faster and more cost‑effective than building custom software.
