Corestruc, a Polokwane-based South African manufacturer of pre-cast concrete structures (part of an 11-company group with ~250 employees), faced slow, paper-based administration across geographically dispersed subsidiaries. Staff only visited HQ monthly, causing accounts payable to take about four weeks, copies to be lost or duplicated, and subsidiaries to depend on HQ for document retrieval — all of which harmed information visibility and decision speed.

Corestruc deployed an on-premises DocuWare DMS integrated with Sage Evolution to digitize invoices, apply electronic stamps, run payment-authorization workflows and enable mobile scanning/countersigning for site teams. The system gives authorized users real-time access, synchronizes with the ERP, speeds up processing, improves information flow and cut internal administrative costs by roughly 65%, with plans to extend the solution to HR.
