Club Atlético Osasuna, a Spanish first-division football club with over a century of history, became DocuWare Cloud’s 1,000th cloud customer in 2023. The club faced fragmented archives—paper files at the stadium and training center and server-based electronic folders—which made incoming invoice processing slow and manual; rising document volumes created delays for accounting and specialist departments that required independent access to records.

Osasuna migrated to DocuWare Cloud, scanning paper receipts and importing digital invoices via Outlook, where intelligent capture indexes documents and an electronic workflow routes about 100 weekly invoices to seven departments for digital approval (used by 12 employees). The change delivered faster accounting, fewer internal queries and waiting times, clear audit trails and tighter access control for sensitive data, with plans to expand the system to contracts, HR and the club’s foundation.
