Car Avenue, a group of about 130 official dealers across Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland with 2,500 employees and roughly €1.8 billion in annual turnover, needed to simplify cumbersome, paper-based invoice processing in its Belgian branches. Because franchisees are separate legal entities, approval procedures varied by location and invoices were delayed while waiting for physical receipts, so the group evaluated DMS options and chose DocuWare Cloud for its flexibility, simplicity and readiness for roll-out in other countries.
Deploying DocuWare Cloud integrated with the Carya administration system automated document archiving and invoice workflows, enabling instant retrieval, mobile approvals and four-eyes checks. The result is faster, more cost-efficient administration with clearer cost visibility and fewer unnecessary approvals; after success in accounting, Car Avenue is now planning to use DocuWare to standardize and automate HR onboarding.
