BAE Management, a Berlin- and Munich-based real estate developer, needed a cloud document management system to run paperless, centrally store invoices, contracts and personnel files, and avoid on-prem backups. The company required a solution that would make daily administrative tasks faster and keep operations resilient in crises like the COVID‑19 lockdown, when remote access and reliable workflows became critical.

They chose DocuWare Cloud and went from trial to productive use in about two days. Documents are now archived in a central pool with automatic indexing and automated workflows for invoice verification, approvals and event registration (QR-based forms with GDPR-compliant deletion).
