Sport Auto Plus is a Bochum-based car-subscription start-up (launched May 2024) targeting sports enthusiasts and scaling rapidly (3,000+ orders in six months, ~1,000 vehicles). Because the business relies on many document types with varying structures—especially disparate state-issued traffic violation notices—the company needed automated recognition and routing to scale without adding headcount.

They implemented DocuWare Cloud with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), a customer portal and integrations with HubSpot, DATEV and other systems to automate invoice approval, violation handling and document access. The IDP delivers about a 90% recognition rate on scanned notices, enabling faster workflows, transparent customer self-service and seamless posting to accounting—reducing manual work and supporting rapid growth.
