The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) needed a rapid, secure mobile device management (MDM) rollout integrated with its enterprise app store and able to scale to tens of thousands of users. DMI partnered with RBS and recommended MobileIron as the core MDM platform to meet strict security, data-protection and scalability requirements.
DMI architected and implemented a MobileIron-based MDM and a customized enterprise app store, moving from a 250‑device pilot to 15,000 devices in 100 days and designing the environment to support up to 50,000 users. The result: secure protection of proprietary financial and user data, faster access to approved apps via a self‑serve portal, and a significant reduction in end‑user mobility support calls thanks to DMI’s solution.
