A DigitalEd Case Study
The University of Guelph, represented by Professor Asha Sadanand, sought to determine the extent to which digital tools from vendor DigitalEd could benefit learning. The specific challenge was to measure the efficacy of the Möbius platform compared to traditional teaching methods within economics courses.
The solution implemented by DigitalEd involved using Möbius to create algorithmic questions and individualized study modules. In two separate trials, students using Möbius performed better on final exams and reported higher confidence and satisfaction. These positive results led to the platform's full implementation in the courses and contributed to published academic research on the findings.
