UK Professor Keeps Students Engaged Using Möbius

The University of Surrey, with Professor Stefan Szyniszewski teaching large STEM classes of 150–200 students, needed a better way to keep students engaged and connected in class. DigitalEd’s Mobius platform was used to help address the challenge of limited time for personal interaction and the resulting disengagement.

DigitalEd implemented Mobius to deliver weekly assignments, tests, and exams with real-life, algorithmic problems, active variables, automatic marking, and instant feedback. The result was higher student engagement and attendance compared with a similar course section without Mobius, along with positive student feedback and improved opportunities for instructors to track progress and refine teaching.
