Gothenburg University professor Ola Hammarsten needed a better way to teach medical statistics that would strengthen students’ understanding and improve long-term knowledge retention. He turned to DigitalEd’s Mobius platform to support a new testing approach focused on helping students engage more deeply with key concepts.
Using DigitalEd’s Mobius, Hammarsten created customized, variable questions and self-testing activities designed around the “testing effect.” The result has been positive: students stay more focused, better understand the material, and retain key concepts longer, with feedback and test results confirming the value of the approach.
