Accelerated Learning in Post-Secondary Engineering Course

Hochschule Bremerhaven professor Matthias Kniebusch was looking for an online teaching solution to help first-year engineering students transition from high school to post-secondary study and build skills faster. DigitalEd’s Mobius platform was chosen to support more interactive learning and better student engagement in STEM courses.

DigitalEd implemented Mobius as an interactive, mobile-friendly learning platform with narrated lectures, visualizations, self-assessment, and automatically graded questions. The result was strong student adoption, with about 80% of students using smartphones to work through problems, along with improved feedback, understanding, and the school’s goal of more interactive learning.
