Nissan - Customer Case Study

Nissan, one of the world’s largest and most decentralized automakers, needed a scalable way to develop leadership skills for 60 high-potential leaders spread across multiple countries. With travel budgets frozen and participants located worldwide, Nissan turned to Development Dimensions International and its leadership development courses to create a common leadership approach aligned to the Nissan Way.

Development Dimensions International designed Nissan’s Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) program using a mix of web-based courses, virtual practice labs, DDI’s Virtual Classroom, and Leadership Mirror feedback. The program delivered strong results: a 31-point increase in participants reporting they used targeted leadership behaviors, and observer ratings rose by 30 points from 57% to 87% after training—performance comparable to or better than traditional classroom delivery.
