A Development Dimensions International Case Study
Moen, a global manufacturer of kitchen and bath products, was looking to strengthen frontline leadership after employee engagement survey results showed an opportunity to improve supervisors’ management skills. With more than 60 U.S.-based supervisors and no formal leadership development program in place, Moen needed a way to build leadership capability, improve engagement, and help leaders better support their teams.
Moen partnered with Development Dimensions International to implement the FrontLine Leadership Program, based on DDI’s Interaction Management leadership development system. The program included 10 courses delivered over 20 months, plus action plans, manager coaching, roundtables, and performance management links to reinforce learning. As a result, Moen saw a 17-point average increase in positive responses across six key engagement questions and a 19-point gain in trust and confidence in supervisors, along with better coaching, communication, conflict management, and morale.
