MGP Ingredients faced a major crisis after the 2008 downturn, which forced layoffs, business-line cutbacks, and leadership turnover that left morale low and teams operating in silos. To help rebuild the company and prepare its top leaders and high-potential employees for the future, MGP Ingredients partnered with Development Dimensions International and enrolled them in a six-month Leadership Academy using DDI’s Interaction Management: Exceptional Leaders … Extraordinary Results® system.
Development Dimensions International designed and delivered 14 half-day leadership courses focused on strategic thinking, collaboration, coaching, change management, and other key behaviors. The program gave leaders a common language, practical tools, and stronger cross-functional relationships, helping improve communication, accountability, and talent development. As a result, MGP Ingredients reported a more energized, proactive culture and stronger leadership alignment as it moved beyond the crisis and toward long-term growth.
