Intact Insurance, Canada’s largest home, auto, and business insurer, needed to unify its culture and strengthen leadership after rapid growth and acquisition. To build a common leadership language and better equip managers at multiple levels, the company partnered with Development Dimensions International and used DDI’s Interaction Management® and Business Impact Leadership® programs.

Development Dimensions International helped Intact Insurance launch leadership development programs including Leadership Passport, Leadership Visa, and a director-level program with coaching and 360° assessments. The results included a 4% improvement in employee engagement in one year, satisfaction ratings of 93% and 92% for the director and team leader programs, and 89% of surveyed leaders saying the programs improved their effectiveness as people leaders.
