GE Healthcare trains 650 leaders with DDI, with 98% ready to apply new skills

GE HealthCare, a leading global healthcare solutions provider, faced a significant challenge after becoming an independent company. With a void in its learning and development structure following its spin-off from GE, it needed to quickly rebuild a unified leadership culture for its 50,000+ employees to fuel growth and cultural transformation. The company partnered with Development Dimensions International (DDI) to build a new, business-aligned leadership development strategy from the ground up.

Development Dimensions International implemented a nested competency model aligned to four key business drivers and delivered scalable development programs through Leadership Academies for all leader levels. Using DDI's Leadership Development Subscription, the solution included assessments, blended delivery, and facilitator-led sessions. The results were highly successful, with over 650 leaders completing the program in the first year and more than 98% planning to apply their new skills. The programs won gold Brandon Hall awards, and leadership development is now recognized as a strategic driver for business growth.
