Doe Run Company - Customer Case Study

The Doe Run Company, a large natural resource and lead producer, needed to shift from an operations-focused culture to a more customer-driven, strategic organization. As it faced a CEO transition and broader business changes, it turned to Development Dimensions International to build a systematic talent strategy, including leadership assessment, succession planning, and performance management.

Development Dimensions International implemented Success Profiles, executive assessments, coaching, competency models, and its Maximizing Performance system to strengthen leadership and accountability across Doe Run. The results included three of the first 10 senior leaders assessed being promoted, more than 91% of employees having performance plans in place within the first year, and gains of 7 percentage points in employee engagement, 8 points in job satisfaction and loyalty, and more than 9 points in understanding of the company’s strategic direction.
