BCD Travel, a global corporate travel management company, faced the challenge of building a consistent leadership culture across its rapidly growing international business. As the company expanded through organic growth and acquisitions, senior leaders saw gaps in coaching, performance management, and staff engagement, especially among newly promoted managers. Development Dimensions International (DDI) was brought in to support this need with leadership development content.
Development Dimensions International implemented BCD Travel’s LEAD program using DDI’s Interaction Management: Exceptional Leaders... Extraordinary Results® system, adapted locally for India and other regions. The program helped train more than 100 frontline leaders in India, improved how leaders were rated in employee surveys, and created a common leadership language and expectations across the organization. BCD Travel also reported stronger leadership behavior, better support for employee performance, and progress in building a stronger leadership pipeline.
