Airbus OneWeb, a joint venture between Airbus and OneWeb, launched a global micro-satellite project to provide affordable internet and needed a help desk that could scale internal support as the team grew. Anthony Carter, Head of IT, said communication was becoming difficult and face-to-face conversations were causing information to be lost, so the company began looking for a self-hosted help desk.
Airbus OneWeb chose Deskpro after comparing self-hosted options, saying it excelled over the others and met its security and feature needs. With Deskpro, internal communication became more manageable, agents could find and manage ticket information more easily, and the Help Center was used to publish knowledge base articles; Carter also said he had not come across any limitations and that Deskpro support had been responsive.
