Descartes implemented a private label cargo booking solution that integrated DeltaCargo.com with Descartes GF-X Exchange and CargoBooker, creating a single, consistent platform for bookings, shipment tracking, and rate queries. The result was one-stop shopping for freight forwarders and shippers, a single repository for data updates, and improved efficiency; Delta Cargo also reported increased online usage and set a short-term goal of processing 50% of transactions online, reducing call center reliance and lowering transaction costs.
