Descartes implemented a hosted SaaS routing and visibility platform that gave Crate and Barrel real-time access to delivery status, improved route optimization, and stronger reporting capabilities. The result was fewer trucks handling more deliveries, delivery windows narrowed from four hours to two, and about 80% of delivery volume managed through Descartes. Crate and Barrel also achieved 98% driver compliance with schedules and routes, improving customer service and enabling faster post-delivery surveys and ongoing operational improvements.
