Principality Building Society, one of the UK’s largest building societies, needed a more reliable way to ensure critical incident notifications reached the right people during out-of-office hours. Working with vendor Derdack, the organization looked for a solution that could handle on-call rotas, third-party contact center personnel, and tight integration with Microsoft System Center.
Derdack implemented Enterprise Alert® integrated with Microsoft System Center Service Manager and Orchestrator to automate incident escalation, notifications, and tracking via Microsoft Lync and email. As a result, Principality achieved guaranteed delivery of critical alerts, improved response for its most important incidents, and now escalates about 5 of the roughly 25 monthly incidents that require attention, boosting speed and accuracy for the top 20% most critical cases.
