Dynatrace routes critical alerts to mobile anywhere with Derdack

Dynatrace, an application performance management software company, needed a way to ensure its on-call teams received critical IT alerts directly on their mobile devices. The challenge was to move beyond dashboard monitoring to deliver prioritized, actionable notifications anywhere. To address this, Dynatrace turned to vendor Derdack and implemented its Enterprise Alert product.

Derdack's solution integrated with Dynatrace via a REST API and Webhooks to capture event data, which was then filtered to trigger mobile alerts based on key parameters. The implementation allows team members to receive notifications via their preferred channel, including push, SMS, and voice calls, and to acknowledge and resolve issues directly from the Enterprise Alert mobile app. The results include ensured alert escalation to the right people at the right time, improved team collaboration, and a centralized view of all alert activity for administrators.
