Wakefield Park is a long‑running motor racing circuit on the outskirts of western Sydney that runs up to twenty events a month across three onsite locations (head office, café and the track). Managing rostered staff from an Excel spreadsheet left the venue overstaffed, paying high overtime and struggling to coordinate availability and tasking across multiple teams.
The venue adopted Deputy, installing iPads for staff check‑in/out and task notifications and using the cloud platform to publish shifts, manage availability and send tasks to trackside teams. The system improved communication, clarified responsibilities, cut wage inefficiencies, lets management monitor operations remotely, and freed the manager to focus more on customer service.
