C1 Speed Indoor Karting in Albion Park, NSW, is a high-adrenaline entertainment venue founded by Steve and Dee‑Ann Caunt that runs a quarter-mile track, cafe and events space with more than 60 staff—many casuals and youth workers—open 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Managing rostering, time and attendance on spreadsheets was taking Dee‑Ann about 30 hours a week, making cover, communication and payroll integration a constant headache.

They implemented Deputy (which integrates with Xero) using the Deputy Kiosk for selfie clock-ins and the News Feed for announcements, and now broadcast rosters and changes directly to staff phones. The cloud-based system cut about two days of admin per week, prevents buddy-punching and falsified timesheets, improves punctuality and communication, and lets timesheets be exported to Xero remotely for on-time payroll.
