The Riverside is a guest house and restaurant in Boscastle, Cornwall, owned by Ross since 2015. As the business grew, Ross faced time-consuming, error-prone manual processes for rostering, time & attendance and payroll that ate into staff admin and distracted from running the business.

Ross implemented Deputy for scheduling and time & attendance, using an iPad kiosk, staff smartphone app and Xero integration. Automated timesheets, upfront visibility of leave, training and labour costs and clearer shift management cut errors and payroll processing time, gave staff more control over shifts, and reclaimed hours previously lost to admin.
