NurseWatch, founded in 2017 by veteran nurse Kate Spurway, is a premium, people‑centred nursing and home‑care service in Australia that packages wellness, clinical care and social support into convenient time blocks. With about 22 contractors, the organisation struggled with manual rostering, paper timesheets and the need to track staff location and exposures—issues made more urgent by COVID‑19 and the demands of compliance and clinical auditing.

NurseWatch embedded Deputy into its website and linked it with purchasing and Xero to automate rostering, timesheets, invoicing, task management and audit trails, while enabling remote clock‑in/out for safety and hygiene. The change cut rostering from a full day to roughly one hour, improved compliance and staff monitoring, supported delivery of 40,000+ care hours weekly, and helped earn the Australian Patrons' Award for Innovation in Technology.
