Case Study: Japan Home Centre (PinnoHome) achieves reduced admin time and scalable staffing with Deputy

A Deputy Case Study

Preview of the Japan Home Centre Case Study

PinnoHome uses Deputy to keep hands on deck and away from admin

PinnoHome Co., Ltd. is the Cambodia franchise of discount homewares chain Japan Home Centre, operating four Phnom Penh stores with more than 25 employees and over 1,800 SKUs. As a fast‑growing startup with an “all hands on deck” culture, managers struggled with time‑consuming rostering and attendance tracking on Excel—especially around peak hours, part‑time university schedules, and ensuring coverage across multiple outlets.

PinnoHome adopted Deputy’s cloud‑based time and attendance platform (including an iPad kiosk with facial recognition and offline sync), giving managers a real‑time snapshot of staff, simple clock‑in/out, and one‑click reports for hours and leave. The system improved punctuality (even for contracted security staff), cut hours of admin work, and provided scalable rostering visibility as the business expands.
