iEducate is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that places college students as College Readiness Mentors to tutor 3rd–8th graders and run summer enrichment camps, aiming to reduce high school dropouts. Managing large teams with pen-and-paper scheduling and paper sign-in sheets forced staff to spend hours building rosters and left them unable to see missed shifts in real time, which sometimes resulted in unfilled classrooms.

By adopting Deputy’s scheduling and messaging platform, iEducate cut schedule creation time to a quarter of what it was, gained immediate visibility into who had clocked in, and dramatically reduced no-call/no-show shifts. The platform also improved workplace communication, helping ensure tutors are on time and in the right classroom so students consistently get the support they need.
