Case Study: Glam Corner slashes rostering to 10 minutes and saves hours on timesheets with Deputy

A Deputy Case Study

Preview of the Glam Corner Case Study

Glam Corner finds the perfect fit with Deputy for managing its fashion warehouse

GlamCorner is an Australian designer-fashion rental business founded by Audrey Khaing-Jones and her husband Dean that grew rapidly from a studio to a 1,000 m² warehouse with about 60 staff, more than half casual or part-time. That growth made rostering and payroll a major administrative headache: managers were juggling texts, Excel spreadsheets and lots of back-and-forth to fill shifts, then spending Sundays copying and reconciling timesheets for payroll.

Implementing Deputy in early 2017 gave GlamCorner flexible rostering, Open Shifts, accurate timesheets via a face-recognition kiosk, a central News Feed and wage-forecasting tools that integrate with payroll. The result: rostering dropped from five hours a week to about 10 minutes, timesheet admin saved roughly four hours weekly, peak shifts are reliably covered, and transparency and trust around hours worked have greatly improved while manual payroll work has been all but eliminated.
