Instamaki is a fast-growing, Spain-based online restaurant founded in 2016 that specialises in delivery-focused Japanese food and has expanded to multiple cities while building a large social following. As the team grew to 82 staff, rostering and payroll were handled manually in Excel, which was time-consuming, error-prone and made it hard to standardise processes across outlets.

Instamaki implemented Deputy for time control and shift scheduling—enabling riders to sign on/off, giving managers editable, accurate timesheets and exporting data for analysis alongside order information from Tookan. The result: standardised operations, more accurate payroll, measurable time and cost savings, and greater operational efficiency that supported new menu launches and continued expansion.
