ServiceMax, a cloud-based field service management software that helps companies manage contracts, scheduling, parts and analytics on mobile devices, needed a more personalized web experience to boost engagement and form submissions. With a small marketing team and a diverse account base, they lacked the bandwidth and reliable firmographic data to create scalable personalization rules, and aimed to reduce bounce rates and increase time on site for targeted accounts.
ServiceMax implemented Demandbase Forms to shorten forms while capturing firmographic data, then deployed Demandbase Site Optimization (AI) to automatically recommend relevant content to each visitor, and used Demandbase Analytics to measure account-level behavior. The results: bounce rates fell 70%, pages-per-session and time on site each rose by more than 100%, form conversions increased 300%, and demo sign-ups grew sixfold.
