Zurich Insurance Group, a global insurer with roughly 60,000 employees across 200+ locations, needed to modernize its FlexWork hybrid workplace by getting AI‑ready PCs to staff quickly, consistently and sustainably. To overcome long ordering cycles, heavy IT configuration workloads and the need for predictable refreshes, Zurich partnered with Dell Technologies and adopted Dell APEX PC-as-a-Service alongside the Dell Premier global portal and related provisioning services.

Dell Technologies delivered a streamlined e-procurement and device‑management solution (Dell APEX PCaaS, Dell Premier, Dell Connected Provisioning and Device Refresh Management) that provisions about 10,000 devices a year. The program enabled device refreshes every 3–4 years, cut ordering time by over 95% (from up to 10 days to ~30 minutes), saved roughly 2 hours of local IT work per laptop, provided predictable monthly costs, and supported sustainability goals (Dell products use 71% recyclable/renewable materials).
