University of Tasmania provides highly collaborative, more productive learning and meeting room environments with Dell Technologies

The University of Tasmania wanted to standardize and modernize AV technology across 70+ learning and meeting spaces to boost collaboration and engagement. Facing a patchwork of department-chosen systems that could take 7–10 minutes to start a meeting, UTAS turned to Dell Technologies, deploying Dell Large Format Monitors and Dell OptiPlex Micro PCs to create consistent, interactive environments.

Dell Technologies implemented touchscreen Dell LFMs integrated with OptiPlex Micro PCs and third‑party peripherals (Logitech, Crestron) to support Zoom and Microsoft Teams across varied room sizes. The standardized solution—now in more than 70 rooms—cuts meeting launch time from minutes to seconds, increases room utilization and booking demand, lowers AV setup time and costs, and improves student and staff engagement and productivity.
