Case Study: American School of Milan achieves scalable, reliable digital learning and simplified IT management with Dell Technologies

A Dell Technologies Case Study

Preview of the American School of Milan Case Study

The American School of Milan can realise the digital ambitions of its 1,600-strong community with just three IT staff thanks to its relationship with Dell Technologies

The American School of Milan, an international education provider with about 900 students and a 1,600‑strong community, needed efficient ways to deliver and manage classroom technology with just three full‑time IT staff. To meet that challenge it partnered with Dell Technologies, issuing Dell Latitude laptops (Intel‑powered) and using Dell PC as a Service (PCaaS) alongside ProSupport Plus, Dell Financial Services and Dell EMC PowerEdge servers.

Dell Technologies implemented PCaaS to simplify lifecycle management (devices renewed every three years and delivered ready to use), provided next‑day ProSupport to minimize downtime, and financed infrastructure via Dell Financial Services to deploy PowerEdge servers for core apps and student databases. The result: the three‑person IT team administers more than 500 devices efficiently, students can run demanding projects (films, animations, robotics) on Intel‑powered Dell Latitude laptops, and the school spreads costs while maintaining reliable, scalable technology.
