Rozetta Japan improves the accuracy of its translations at triple the speed with artificial intelligence

Rozetta, a Japanese pioneer in automated translation services, sought to transform its T-400 product by adding deep learning to improve accuracy and speed. To support the DL algorithms it needed an on-premises server platform with the latest GPUs, strong heat dissipation and simplified management, so Rozetta turned to Dell Technologies and its Dell EMC PowerEdge C‑Series servers with OpenManage and iDRAC systems management.

Dell Technologies provided PowerEdge C‑Series servers configured with NVIDIA Tesla V100 GPUs and OpenManage/iDRAC, enabling Rozetta to run DL training three times faster and deliver T‑400 Version 2.0 with about 95% translation accuracy. The deployment drove a 4–5× increase in revenue, lowered peak GPU temperatures by over 20°C, sped GPU procurement by 83% versus other vendors, and improved IT management.
