Nol-Tec Modernizes Infrastructure with Dell EMC PowerEdge and VMware Cloud Foundation

Nol-Tec Systems, a manufacturer of pneumatic bulk materials‑handling and environmental solutions, faced an aging, inconsistent IT infrastructure that couldn’t keep up with changing regulations and customer requirements. To gain agility and simplify management, Nol-Tec worked with Dell Technologies to implement VMware Cloud Foundation running on Dell EMC PowerEdge R740xd servers (with VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX and Workspace ONE).

Dell Technologies deployed a software‑defined data center (SDDC) using Cloud Foundation on PowerEdge servers, delivering the environment in days rather than weeks. The solution gave Nol-Tec exponential performance improvements, consistent, simplified updates (less time on routine management, more on strategic projects), VDI for CAD and remote work during COVID‑19, and built‑in backup/DR—with the flexibility to move workloads to public cloud when needed.
