Munster Rugby transforms its performance with data accessed through reliable desktop and laptop solutions

Munster Rugby, the historic Irish rugby club, needed reliable, high-performance access to data for a largely mobile workforce to improve both on-field preparation and commercial operations. To modernize aging client devices and enable staff to work from multiple locations, Munster Rugby engaged Dell Technologies (through local partner Action Point) for client solutions, deploying Dell Latitude laptops and Dell OptiPlex desktops.

Dell Technologies delivered a mix of Dell Latitude (3000/5000 series and E3560) laptops and Dell OptiPlex desktops with remote maintenance by Action Point, improving connectivity, speed and day‑to‑day reliability for staff on the move. The solution supported 120+ presentations per month on lightweight Latitude machines, provided “100% reliable” performance, and helped drive measurable commercial gains—a €2.05M rise in ticket sales, child attendance growth from about 500 to as many as 5,000 per game, and a 30% year‑on‑year increase in season ticket sales.
