Mizuho Research and Technologies - Customer Case Study

Mizuho Research and Technologies, a think‑tank subsidiary of the Mizuho Financial Group, faced a need to rebuild its development communications infrastructure to reduce reliance on third‑party vendors and improve scalability, operability and in‑house agility. To address these challenges they partnered with Dell Technologies, deploying Dell EMC VxRail hyperconverged infrastructure alongside Dell EMC PowerScale storage and Dell ProSupport Plus.

Dell Technologies delivered an HCI solution with centralized support and Residency Service skills transfer, enabling Mizuho Research and Technologies to manage more work in‑house. The new environment reduced upgrade labor by one‑third, cut server rack space by more than one‑quarter, and shortened file‑server migration time from three months to about two weeks, while improving scalability and lowering operational cost and power consumption.
