CROC Cloud Services, a standalone business within the Russian IT group CROC, needed scalable, easily replicated data centres to serve medium-sized and large enterprises migrating from on‑premises systems to cloud services. To meet that challenge it partnered with Dell Technologies, building its cloud on Dell EMC PowerEdge servers and Dell EMC ScaleIO software‑defined storage.

Dell Technologies delivered a high‑performance, reliable platform that now underpins CROC Cloud Services’ three Tier III Gold data centres and a partner site in Turkey, enabling at least a 4x increase in customer base year‑over‑year in 2019 and supporting around 400 enterprise customers. The Dell Technologies solution provided easier integration and management, EMEA-ready configurations, reduced CapEx opportunities and AWS‑API compatibility to support ongoing international expansion.
