KASIKORN Business – Technology Group accelerates development of cloud-native services with a hybrid cloud on Dell Technologies

KASIKORN Business – Technology Group (KBTG), the tech arm behind Kasikorn Bank’s digital services including the AI-enabled K PLUS app, needed to accelerate development of cloud-native banking services while keeping data secure and managing resources across multiple clouds. To meet this challenge it partnered with Dell Technologies, seeking a software-defined, hybrid-cloud platform that would enable faster delivery and flexible multi-cloud operations.

Dell Technologies implemented a hybrid and multi-cloud platform using VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell EMC VxRail, supported by Dell EMC PowerScale and ECS and deployed via Dell EMC Deployment Services; KBTG migrated cloud‑native apps to VxRail with Kubernetes and plans to add VMware Tanzu. As a result, KBTG now launches services across multiple clouds, eliminated data-center downtime, will deliver at least 200 digital transformation projects a year, cut IT TCO by 25%, freed 50% of IT resources for development, and reduced energy use by 10%—all enabled by Dell Technologies.
