How an aviation training provider has equipped its new training centre with flexible and configurable touch and non-touch screen technologies from Dell Technologies

Lufthansa Aviation Training, a global aviation training provider with 1,044 employees and 700 trainers, needed a modern, flexible training centre near Zurich to replace outdated 1950s-era facilities and support a wider range of services while ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Office 365. The company chose Dell Technologies and deployed touch-enabled collaboration monitors — including the Dell 75 4K Interactive Touch Monitor (C7520QT), Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor (C8621QT), Dell 55 Interactive Touch Monitor (C5518QT) and Dell 55 4K Conference Room Monitor (C5519Q) — to create configurable, technology-agnostic classrooms.

Dell Technologies delivered an end-to-end solution built around those touchscreen displays with options for wall-mounting, mobile carts, combined screens, wireless connectivity and virtual whiteboarding. The deployment achieved seamless Office 365 integration, greater teaching flexibility, remote instruction and easy mobile content sharing; trainers quickly adopted new workflows, the organisation met its strategic goal to broaden training services, and Lufthansa Aviation Training praised Dell Technologies’ responsive support and is considering the same configuration for other centres.
