Noble Foods, a leading UK food manufacturer and supplier, needed to modernize its data centers and disaster recovery to simplify management of a 100% VMware environment across primary, DR and remote sites and to “future proof” the business for at least five years. Seeking a replacement for a siloed IBM/Veritas setup, Noble Foods evaluated vendors and selected Dell Technologies to address capacity, performance and operational complexity while protecting continuous 24/7 operations.

Dell Technologies deployed a converged solution—VxRail hyperconverged infrastructure with Data Protection Suite for VMware, RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines and PowerProtect DD (DD Boost)—migrating services seamlessly and without downtime. The new Dell Technologies environment now runs 183 VMs (≈96 TB), provides continuous replication to a DR site, enables snapshot-based recoveries in minutes (vs. previous nightly-only restores), streamlines remote-office backups over limited bandwidth, and reduces storage footprint, compute and environmental costs while freeing staff from manual updates.
