Grade A flexibility for Singapore school

Nexus International School, a Singapore K–12 with about 1,000 students from 50+ nationalities, needed a resilient, high-performance IT infrastructure to support learning platforms, administrative systems, video security and innovative virtual environments as it moved into a new campus. To meet those needs Nexus turned to Dell Technologies, deploying Dell EMC PowerFlex (with hyperconverged nodes) and other Dell solutions to provide the flexibility and scalability required for today’s classrooms and future growth.

Dell Technologies implemented PowerFlex across eight hyperconverged nodes in two on‑campus data centers, together with Dell EMC PowerProtect DD, PowerVault, RecoverPoint for VMs and VMware management tools. The solution delivered continuous availability, sub‑millisecond (<1 ms) latency, and a 31:1 (98%) backup data‑reduction ratio, enabling quick provisioning, maintenance without downtime, and reliable support for remote learning and critical school services.
