A Dell Technologies Case Study
The Football Association of Ireland faced a sudden ransomware attack that knocked out its systems and threatened critical communications just before major international matches. Already planning a move to Microsoft Office 365 to support a largely remote workforce, the Football Association of Ireland engaged Dell Technologies (Dell Technologies Services for Office 365) to accelerate the migration and restore operations.
Dell Technologies restored Active Directory, commissioned the Office 365 portal, synced users to Azure, configured Exchange Online and MX records, and enabled OneDrive, Teams and security controls like Azure Information Protection and Conditional Access. Dell Technologies had staff up on Exchange Online within hours, moved the entire workforce to Office 365 in two days, restored email and file access in about four hours, and supported training and help-desk augmentation (200+ users trained; 185 users passed 437 exams), strengthening security and enabling effective remote collaboration.
