GLA University, serving about 10,000 students and 1,500 staff across 35 departments, was struggling with frequent server latency and outages—unscheduled downtime of up to eight hours and slow data retrieval—despite adding individual servers and outsourcing some services. Dell Technologies’ VxRail HCI, implemented with support and training from Arrow PC Network and Dell’s IT team, was deployed within two weeks. The new solution cut server issues by up to 90%, eliminated unscheduled server-room visits, enabled 100% seamless online admissions and classes, reduced overheads, and freed about 80% of the IT team’s time for higher-value work—demonstrating clear, measurable improvements in stability and efficiency under Dell Technologies.
