FACT-Finder Combines the Best of Both Worlds

FACT‑Finder, the European market leader in search, navigation and merchandising for online stores, was facing recurring storage bottlenecks and an IT architecture that couldn’t keep up with 24/7, AI‑driven workloads or rapid customer-driven changes. To meet performance, scalability and budget constraints while protecting existing hardware investments, FACT‑Finder selected Dell Technologies and its vSAN Ready Nodes together with the PowerEdge MX infrastructure.

Dell Technologies deployed VMware vSAN on Dell EMC vSAN Ready Nodes within PowerEdge MX7000 chassis (including MX740c servers, MX5016s storage sleds and associated switches), converting existing R730 servers into compute‑only nodes and integrating on‑site storage to avoid costly cloud migration. The solution delivered noticeably improved read/write performance, greater resilience and easier centralized management, reduced complexity and operational effort, and lower CapEx risk — enabling FACT‑Finder to scale quickly and maintain high performance for its customers.
