A Dell Technologies Case Study
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, which preserves deeds, plat maps and more than 49 million searchable documents while maintaining voter files for over 2.6 million residents, was straining to serve 3,000–5,000 people daily and roughly one million records a year. To meet needs for speed, scalability, resiliency and security, the office turned to Dell Technologies, deploying Dell PowerStore all‑flash NVMe storage alongside Dell PowerEdge servers and iDRAC remote management.
Dell Technologies implemented a virtualized environment integrating PowerStore and PowerEdge, cutting retrieval times in half, shrinking the storage footprint by 90%, reducing physical servers from about 50 to 6 (up to an 85% reduction), and enabling compute to scale up to 200x for elections. The solution also delivered built‑in data protection and cyber resilience, lower power and maintenance costs, and support for hybrid work and AI-driven document processing — yielding clear, measurable gains in performance, cost and security.
