Pert Telecom Solutions (PertSol), a Mumbai- and Gurugram-based provider of telecom and IoT software, built iLocator, a location-based services (LBS) platform to support emergency call tracking and other public-safety applications. To scale iLocator quickly for smart-city and telecom customers, PertSol needed an OEM partner with global services and an open-architecture approach — and engaged Dell Technologies OEM Solutions, leveraging Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, PowerScale storage, networking solutions and OptiPlex desktops.

Dell Technologies OEM Solutions co-designed and implemented the iLocator platform, sharing engineering expertise, validating performance and helping PertSol launch globally. The partnership delivered class-leading solution performance, sped customer deployments by 7–9 months on average, enabled Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to deploy iLocator across India for law‑enforcement and emergency services, and set the stage for expansion into Africa and South America.
