Kennedy Miller Mitchell (KMM), an Australian film, TV and game production house behind titles like Babe, Happy Feet and Mad Max, needed to speed up creative workflows, enable global collaboration on massive production files, and ensure directors’ visions stayed faithful through fast-changing creative iterations. To meet these challenges KMM partnered with Dell Technologies, deploying the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA alongside Dell Precision AI-ready workstations (NVIDIA RTX GPUs), Dell PowerScale storage and Dell UltraSharp monitors.

Dell Technologies’ GenAI platform and hardware let KMM pre-visualize entire sequences and streamline studio workflows, cutting scene load times from about 10 minutes to under 30 seconds and enabling a 50x acceleration in production processes, 20x improvement in file distribution and a 20% reduction in production staff overhead. The Dell Technologies solution also reduced manual storage management, supported tens of terabytes of collaborative work, and allowed KMM to pre-visualize projects (such as a 15‑minute chase and Furiosa) in months rather than years.
